On 3 and 4 November the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung office in East Africa, SEATINI and the Kenya Human Rights Commission organise a preparatory meeting in view of the World Trade Organisation's Ministerial Conference in December. Golden Dawn on Trial
Goldene Morgenröte vor Gericht

On 20 April started the trial against members of the nazi party Golden Dawn (Chrysi Avgi). After many years of bloody action on the streets, the leaders and officials of Golden Dawn are in the dock facing charges of directing and participating in a criminal organisation. The journalist Dimitris Psarras examines why it took so long for the justice system to tackle Golden Dawn. He illustrates the organisation’s activity after the 2012 elections both in parliament and on the streets, and explains the line of defense it has adopted in the trial. Download the booklet.

Am 20. April hat der Prozess gegen Mitglieder der griechischen Nazi-Partei Goldene Morgenröte (Chrysi Avgi) begonnen. Nach vielen Jahren blutiger Straßentaten in Griechenland sitzen die Anführer und Funktionäre der Goldenen Morgenröte wegen Leitung und Mitwirkung in einer kriminellen Organisation auf der Anklagebank. Der Journalist Dimitris Psarras untersucht die Gründe warum es so lange gedauert hat bis die Justiz den Fall Goldene Morgenröte aufgenommen hat. Er beleuchtet die Aktivitäten der Partei im Parlament und auf den Straßen nach den Wahlen in 2012 und erklärt ihre Verteidigungsstrategie in den Prozessverhandlungen.
