STATEMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT OF NICARAGUA
ABOUT THE CURRENT SITUATION
For our Blessed, Sovereign and Always Dignified Nicaragua, its Government of Reconciliation and National Unity, on behalf of our Valiant People, has been watchful and active with regard to the terrible aggressions that are taking place in the World and in recent times we have paid special attention, taking the lead with Legal Measures and Emphatic Condemnation of the abuses, attacks and savage assaults, all the crimes against humanity, perpetrated against the Palestinian People by the Government of Israel.
Nicaragua, always Consistent and Coherent in its demand for action on these flagrant injustices, barbaric deeds and genocides, condemns all Acts of Brutality and Violation of the Norms of International Law and the Conventions that all States have signed in the various United Nations Agencies, demanding respect for the most basic Culture of Coexistence everywhere in the World.
In the face of the incompetence and inaction of the United Nations System, which makes itself complicit in aberrant crimes against all forms of Life, we advocate a Forceful Expression and Manifestation of its Role in Safeguarding Law and Peace among the Human Community; a Role that should be played by those Organizations created to demand Legality and Legitimacy in the Behavior of Empires and their Satellites, such that they cannot continue to act with Impunity, regardless of the entire International Legal Order.
We call, as always, for an action of Forceful Dialogue, and above all for the Unequivocal Equity that should prevail in the United Nations, since while the UN accuses and condemns Peaceful Peoples, and Law-abiding Governments, they remain silent and complacent about the destructive, arbitrary, criminal, illegal and unilateral aggressions misleadingly called "Sanctions”, ignoring the Permanent Systematic Imperial Violation of all Human Rights and the Laws that must be applied in order to assert Urgent Respect for Life and the Promotion of Dialogue and Peace throughout the World.
