Camille Landry will depict current conditions in the US, where reproductive rights and healthcare are facing serious challenges, especially after the recent overturn of Roe v. Wade.

Becca Renk will describe Nicaragua's law, public opinion and religious influence in that country.  Then she will discuss improvements in women's lives and gender equality in Nicaragua over the past 15 years.  The audience will have ample time to ask questions and offer comments!

Becca Renk has been a community development worker for over 20 years in Ciudad Sandino, Nicaragua, and a delegation coordinator through Casa Ben Linder, a solidarity project of the Jubilee House Community.

Camille Landry is Outreach Director for Alliance for Global Justice's Lucy Parsons Popular Human Rights School.
