'I Thought I Heard Sweet Víctor, Singing’, the ‘flipbook’ linked below, is my tribute to the beauty, courage and struggle for justice of so many unsung heroes - exemplified by the great, and greatly-loved, Víctor Jara of Chile, and those who join him on its cover, from Rosa Parks to Beethoven.  Despite Víctor's awful death by Russian roulette during the military coup of 1973, his songs, with their loving concern for horses, dogs and even cats, as well as for children and working folk everywhere, offer us the solace, courage and hope we need to confront our greatest ever challenge: climate justice for all living beings, for Earth herself.

Music is sacred, beyond price. Therefore, the flipbook (astonishingly, songbook AND album in one - just click the links to access song videos) – is entirely free; and, while everything works perfectly online, and even on smartphones, you’re more than welcome to download and print the entire volume for yourself.
