WE DEMAND RESPECT
FOR THE SYRIAN ARAB REPUBLIC
The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua firmly condemns the flagrant disrespect for International Law and violation of the Principles and Purposes of the Charter of the United Nations by Israel, attacking the Syrian Arab Republic on September 8th, murdering 18 Brothers and Sisters of the Syrian People and violating the Sovereignty and Territorial Integrity of that Fraternal Country.
Our Government warns again that these actions of destabilization and interference will only bring dangerous consequences for the Region and the World.
We advocate unrestricted respect for the Charter of the United Nations and its Principles, for which the Peoples of the World are crying out, so that Peace, Justice and Hope may prevail.
Our Government expresses our firm solidarity with the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic and the Families of the 18 Martyrs and of the 37 victims wounded in this criminal terrorist attack. We firmly reject this kind of ignoble act, so detrimental to Peace.
