STATEMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT OF NICARAGUA
AND THE FSLN
The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of Nicaragua, Blessed and Free and the Sandinista National Liberation Front, issue this pronouncement today to repudiate, condemn and reject, once again, the coercive, arbitrary, illegal, illegitimate measures, which we call aggressions; the coercive measures that U.S. imperialism has announced today, in an overbearing tone to which it now has no right, against 21 Venezuelan Brothers and Sisters, with the aim of cutting short the Liberating, Irrevocable, Unstoppable Determination of the People of Bolívar, of Chávez, of Nicolás, as if that were possible.
Faced with this new aggression against a Vigorous, Solidarity inspired, Fraternal, Victorious People, we ratify the Sovereign Union and Revolutionary Alliance between us at all times, under all circumstances, as we strive to Continue to Overcome, because our Always Further On transcends any attempt to destroy us, or to diminish our Historic Valor.
Faced with the Invader Yankee we raise our Banners high and Gather Up the Sacred Flames of Freedom, which motivate us in the Cause of Justice and the Cause of Love.
All our Affection, all our Solidarity, and with all the Strength we Share with the Fraternal People of Venezuela.
