We have received with great sadness the news of the Departure to another Plane of Life of our Beloved Compañero and Comrade, Former President of Suriname, Desi Bouterse.
We were united with Desi by a Long and Faithful Friendship in so many moments of struggle and Victories.
He was always a loyal companion on the side of Causes of Justice and Solidarity.
All our Affection, as ever indeed, for Ingrid, for his children and relatives and for his People that he loved so much.
Rest in Peace, beloved Brother Desi Bouterse.
