With immense joy we have received the news of your election as head of the Pan American Health Organization, representing the Unity of Our Caribbean America, around the Rights of all Families and Peoples to Health in all of its forms, and for the Common Good.
In congratulating You, Your People, and the Peoples of this Brave and Worthy Continent, we also salute Dr. Carissa Etienne, who as you know, has been at the head of PAHO in very challenging, complex and difficult times.
Dr. Carissa Etienne leaves a Legacy of Solidarity and Fraternal Accompaniment to the Families of this Continent and we are sure that with You at the head of PAHO, this fruitful work will continue, placing the inalienable Rights of our Peoples at the forefront.
