49 Years ago a bullet in the jungle of Zinica "desecrated his tough Saint's Heart…" But he left us his Faith, his Certainty, his Assurance... He left us the Insurmountable and Unyielding Force of the Sandinista National Liberation Front...
Leader and Guide, Victor over Death, you left us Eternity as a Revolution that is created and recreated, advancing in every moment, with its Forms and its Languages, with Integrity and Convictions, with an ever-growing Soul; you left us the Sandinista Popular Revolution which is all of us, with Daniel, our Undefeated and Invincible Revolution, because it shares your Courage, your Strength, your Mettle... Because this is a True Revolution... Because every day we are born from your Light into your Light... Because every day that Sun, your Sun, Carlos, your Nicaragua, Carlos, your Free Patriotic Nation, Carlos, illuminates and never sets.
We commemorate ourselves, for we are all Carlos, we are all Revolution and we are all Strength, Steadfastness, Coherence, Consequence, we are all Constancy, Courage, Bravery, all of us know how to be Revolutionaries, Sandinistas, Nicaraguans, by the Grace of God!
We celebrate ourselves by holding high the Flags of the Blessed Motherland, Blue and White that no one can sully, that no one can take from us; the Red and Black that is in each of us as Sacred Blood, as the Emblem and Banner of our sublime condition as Combatants, Determined Anti-Imperialist Combatants, Forging Rights and Christian, Socialist, Solidarity-inspired Well Being, all of us.
Now 49 Years Old we are here celebrating the Advances of our Glorious Revolution... Celebrating every victory... Celebrating every step... Celebrating our True Brother and Sisterhood with other Peoples and Revolutions, with whom we are unquestionably forging the New World, the Better World Humanity deserves.
After 49 years we are here, passing so many crossroads, along so many roads, after so many journeys that are like stardust on each of us, all of us who believe and know for sure we are already making our way in this other World, indispensable for Justice, Truth, Work and Peace.
In every space of our Sacred, Blessed, Prosperous and Victorious Land we celebrate you, rendering you Honor and Glory, Comandante, Victor over every Death, Triumphant in every Purpose, in every Commitment, in every Act and Event of Supreme Commitment with our Oath to Fight, Fight, Fight to Overcome, Overcome, Overcome.
And so we go onward, as Children of our Great Heroines and Heroes, as your Children, as Children of Tomás, as Daniel, because we are all Daniel, and we come from Carlos, Fiancé and Spouse of our Red and Black Patriotic Nation
There will be Vigils throughout our Sacred Territory, for here we have a Patriotic Nation, and We are going Onward.
There will be Reveilles, because Nicaragua is made of Vigor and Glory, and of all your Inspiration and Vitality, Carlos.
There will be Events, Concerts, Recitals, Parades, Rhythmic Bands, Conferences, Education workshops, Traditional and Cultural events, Sports activities, Inaugurations, Health Campaigns, Good Living Campaigns, because we deserve to live in Peace with Well Being and More Well Being.
This is our Patriotic Nation, it is our Nation, and you, Carlos, are the Formidable, Magnificent, Supreme Force of Spirit that inspires us, accompanying us always, Always Further On, making another Nicaragua, making our way for another Nicaragua, creating another Nicaragua, one of Revolution, which is Love, the Hope of so many of us, illuminating the Present and the Future.
There will be Acts of Love for Nicaragua and Love for Carlos, throughout our Glorious Nicaraguan Territory.
Nicaragua stays free, because she has children who love her...
Nicaragua is Free, being Brave, Courageous, Invaluable, because we are a People of Patriots who know the Reason for all our unyielding Struggles, the Burning Flame of all the Triumphs which undoubtedly are coming, and will indeed come.
Nicaragua’s Youth of all eras, the Sandinista Youth of July 19th, in your name, Carlos Fonseca, carries forward all the Banners for forging Character, Mettle, the Will to Overcome, because they are Banners of the Soul, of the Spirit, of the Always Further On that we live, that we honor, that we sense, with which we vibrate, with you, Carlos, who have bequeathed to us the Duty to transcend in every moment.
Carlos lives on, Sandino lives on, our Heroes and Heroines live on, and we continue in all our Struggles...
More aware than ever, we know the meaning of those Loves which are Reasons, of the Combats and Battles of that Great Power of Love which we feel, of which we dream, to which we vibrate and which we live!
We Overcome and We Will Overcome!
