Remarks by Rosario, Co-President of Nicaragua
after the Event of Commitment to Peace

Here we reaffirm that Nicaragua Triumphs in Peace and Unity, Nicaragua Triumphs because there is Peace, because there is Love and there is Dignity; because there is Strength of Soul and Strength of Spirit.
Present here is Sandino, here are our Heroes, here too are our Martyrs. There are no traitors here! As Leyton said: The traitors took their flight out.
There is strength of Spirit here. Christ Jesus is here, who inspires us every day and commits us to live in Brother and Sisterhood, to live in Freedom, to live with Rights, to make our way, moving ahead, going onward in Unity of All for the Sake of All.
We are proud of this beautiful event, we are proud of our Youth, of all Nicaragua’s Families, very proud.
As the Comandante said, we know that here no one wants conflict, no one wants discord, no one wants a return to those atrocities which were not even carried out by Nicaraguans. Because the ones who attacked people here are not Nicaraguans, they are in other places, other latitudes and other dimensions.
Here, there is a Spiritual Dimension, a Spiritual Strength that allows us to Go Onward, always building Futures of progress against Poverty, Futures of Well-being, of Joy, Security and Happiness for Nicaragua’s Families, step by step.
No one gives up here. No one sells out here. We are here making our way with Christ Jesus, to advance as God's People. And we are here to create and to believe, every day, that it is possible to live in Peace; that nobody wants wars in this world, and that we must strive everywhere, in magnificent harmony, for Peace, for Concord, for the Future. Without peace there is no future anywhere.
We must always remember everything this People has offered for Peace and for Life, and as our Comandante Daniel said, remind those who have disharmony in their Soul, in their Mind, that the world’s Peoples bless those Pastors who seek Peace and Good, and that these Peoples truly reject those who sow winds, storms, discord and disrespect.
The Peoples know this, the Peoples know, and that is why we ask Christ Our Lord to enlighten us All, so that the Future of Peace, of Rights, of Well-being, of Christian, Socialist and Solidarity inspired Love prevails for Nicaragua, for the Peoples of Our America, for the World. This is what we all want, it is what all of us want, and for that we work, always making our way, always going onward, always advancing, fighting the battles necessary for Peace.
