The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua laments and strongly rejects the disrespectful, interventionist Statements made by the Foreign Minister of Guatemala in a Spanish media outlet.
Nicaragua has never intervened in the internal affairs of any country, and we have also never referred to the difficult political, social and economic processes which that fraternal Central American Country has experienced from one crisis to the next.
As always, our Solidarity to the Guatemalan People, and we insist on respecting each other, as is appropriate in a complex and challenging World, where every day we ought to commit ourselves to advancing in Unity for the Common Good, that is, in the urgent Struggles against Poverty and for the Well-being to which our Communities have every right.
