With deep pain and sadness, but with full faith in the will of Almighty God, we have received the unhappy news of the Transition to Another Plane of Life of our dear Brother, His Highness, Emir Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, may he rest in peace.
We express to Your Highness, the honorable Al Thani Family and the fraternal people of Qatar our most sincere condolences and our deep solidarity at this time of immense grief.
Dear Emir Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani will be remembered as a great leader and visionary statesman, recognized for his wisdom, his commitment to peace, to dialogue and to cooperation between peoples. His legacy will remain as a testament of his dedication to the State of Qatar and to humanity.
