Dear Comrades, Dear Sisters and Brothers
of our Glorious National Police:
With Honor and Glory, we arrive to the 41st Anniversary of our Always Present National Police. And we arrive, all together, because the National Police, Sentinel of our Personal, Family and Community Tranquility, takes care of us all, at all times, fulfilling its Patriotic, Constitutional Duty, which is to accompany the Nicaraguan People, in all its Social, Cultural, Economic, Political Expressions, with a Call for Service and Full Disposition, to give up even their own Life, in that constant, incessant protection of Life.
In 41 years we have lived together so many struggles, so many challenges, so many difficult moments, but always Victorious; complex, but always a Proud Mission to rescue the indispensable Harmony in the Community, which is the Essence and Foundation of Stability, Work and Peace, in our Blessed and Always Free Nicaragua.
At 41 Years we fill the Heart of the Motherland, by confirming how our Urban and Rural Communities value the active presence of each Woman and each Man who from our National Police, serve them without distinction of Social or Economic Condition, Political Ideology, Beliefs or Cultures, in a Country like ours, where with the protection of our Police, we take better care of ourselves, all of us who integrate our Great National Family.
We can never forget the Shining Example of so many Police Sisters and Brothers who have offered their Lives, serving the Motherland and the Nicaraguan Families. We can never forget the imperishable Example of so many Courageous Police Sisters and Brothers who together with entire Families, have fought against crime, vices, drug activity, terrorism and everything that alters or violates the Right of Nicaraguans to life, study, work and prosper, in Peace and Well-being.
To the Families of all Sisters and Brothers who throughout these 41 Years have served the People with Patriotism and Honor, and to those who have given their Lives with Love to Nicaragua, our deepest Respect, Recognition and Affection, in the assurance that we know, and will know, to uphold their Example of Valor, Courage and Loyalty to Nicaragua.
We have been working so that in each Municipality of our Blessed Motherland, there is a Police Unit, Citizen Security, with a Spirit of Professional Service and with technical and professional equipment, in order to serve the Community as it deserves. In these Police Units, there is always the name of one of our Heroic Sentinels of the Joy of the People.
And, we also have relaunched the Women's Police Sections throughout the Country, to carefully attend our Right, the Brave Nicaraguan Women, to Respect and Dignity in all aspects of our Life. In each of these determined Working Centers, there is the name of a Police Woman, illuminating with her example and her tenacity, the daily work, indispensable, so that Gender Equality is an inviolable Principle and Practice.
In all the challenging circumstances where we have lived and still live, present for everyone, walking and accompanying, making the Collective Dream of a Nicaragua Free of Poverty come true, and raising the Commitment to Peace, Justice, Rights for All, Dignity for All, and Study, Health and Work, all defended, as an inalienable expression of the Constitutional Proposals of our Christian and Solidarity Project.
Our National Police celebrates 41 Years with the applause of the People who have recognized them, always seeking support in times of climatic and volcanic affectations, rains, floods, of Titling and Healthcare Sessions, of Christian and Solidarity Programs, of Education, of caring for our Sacred Lands and Nature, and in situations where Investigation and the application of Laws are imposed to protect and safeguard Citizens in Good Will.
In this 2020 of individuals and unpublished Struggles for Health, for the restoration and proper functioning of the Economy, hit by the events that we know, our National Police has been there, active and in high disposition, responding to the call of the People and Families who demand their support.
We have learned together. We have grown together. We have fought together. And together we have preserved Peace and Goodwill, as only a People and Institutions, Revolutionaries, of Christian Principles and Values, and with a high Sense of Committed and Human Solidarity can do.
Our Embrace, our Congratulations, to all the Police Sisters and Brothers, to the National Council, to its First Commissioner, General Francisco Díaz, and to all its Members who, as the People's Security Community, do not hesitate to respond with Responsibility and Courage, to everything that the Motherland demands.
This National Police is the Sandinista Police, because it represents the historical, evolutionary continuity of Revolutionary Institutions, distinguished by their Vocation, Loyalty, Firmness and Fidelity to the Ideals and Values of a Motherland, Nation and People with History, Memory and Future, fertilized and watered with Heroism, Martyrdom and the Eternal Spirit of its Best Children.
At 41 Years we celebrate the Blue, White and Blue of our National Police, that with the National Colors and the Heart filled with Love, are ready to continue fighting for the Tranquility and Security that all Citizens demand and deserve, and all the Members of our Great Nicaraguan Family.
