The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of Nicaragua emphatically condemns the politicization and selectivity of Specific Countries in some United Nations Organizations and in particular, the Human Rights Council, which, as we have repeatedly denounced, bases its so called Reports in the media Agenda and the slanderous and defamatory statements of Organizations that do not represent the Life of the Peoples.
These degrading presentations, the selective targeting of Developing Countries, is a flawed practice that discredits the Human Rights Council itself by transferring, in this already sufficiently altered and complex World, greater uncertainty and instability upon the Peoples who are in need of Truth, Respect and Affirmation of our Cultures and Dignity.
We denounce and condemn the repeated attacks in an uninterrupted and cruel war against our Peoples, and in particular against Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua, in a pattern, a model and a design of foreign interests, delineated in the interventionist Policies of the Empires.
We demand from these Organizations that the World created, such as the United Nations Organization established 75 Years ago, Respect for Human Dignity, Security, Harmonious Coexistence, and Life, behaviours that are consistent with International Law and the Purposes and Principles of the United Nations Charter itself. We demand that they take into account all perspectives and all Rights, strengthening Dialogue and Peace, in a World so in need of Harmony and Peaceful Resolution of all conflict. Then, as now, we require serious, formal, strong Institutions, genuinely committed to Cultures, Ways of Life and the invariable Purpose of advancing against all forms of Poverty and Oppression.
In this 75th Anniversary of the United Nations, the Voices, our Voices, as Women and Men of all ages, as simple, genuine Families, working with honesty and dedication, must be heard by an International Bureaucracy that cannot continue disconnected from the Will and the Urgencied of the Peoples.
The United Nations Organizations, necessary, as always, cannot continue to distort, with politicized noises and falsehoods, the daily realities of Families everywhere that fight for the right to dream, study, to have all the guarantees of the Charter of Humanity, and above all, of the United Nations that is obliged to serve the Peoples and guarantee the Future, in a model of social justice that is relevant, functional and absolutely indispensable.
