Dear President,
As you commemorate one more Anniversary of the Day of Independence of the Republic of Haiti, we wish to express on behalf of the People and Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua, and on our own behalf, our Congratulations to You, the People and Government of the Republic of Haiti.
On this memorable and historic date in which Haiti becomes the first country in the hemisphere to break the chains of colonialism and slavery, we join You and your People in commemorating this National Day that fills all the Peoples of Our Latin America and Caribbean with pride and dignity.
Dear President,
The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua takes the opportunity to reiterate its will to continue strengthening the Bonds of Friendship and Solidarity between our Peoples, as well as its commitment to continue working together to overcome the great challenges of our times.
