Dear Brother President,
Dear Brother Prime Minister,
On behalf of the People and Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua, and on our own behalf, we wish to express our deepest condolences, for the loss of valuable human lives and the so many injured, as a result of the terrorist attack that occurred in the City of Palma in the Province of Cabo Delgado.
Nicaragua reaffirms that terrorism, in all of its forms and manifestations, represents one of the gravest threats to international peace and security and that any act of terrorism is criminal and unjustified, regardless of its motives, who commits it, and where it may be committed. In the same manner, we emphasize the need for all States to combat this scourge in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations and their obligations under International Human Rights Law.
We regret this unfortunate tragedy, asking you to extend our prayers and words of comfort to the families of the victims.
From our Nicaragua, Blessed and Free, receive our always fraternal consideration and sincere friendship, as well as the affection of all Nicaraguans for the Brotherly People of the Republic of Mozambique.
