Ministry of the Interior clarifies the documentation of US citizen Carmella Rogers Amburn

PRESS RELEASE

 

The Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Nicaragua, informs the General Public, of the following documents of the American citizen, Carmella Rogers Amburn:

 

I-. Related to the Nicaraguan registration of Ms. Carmella Rogers Amburn:

 

  1. Certificate of Cancellation of Entry Registration, issued by the Registry of the Civil Status of the People of the Supreme Electoral Council: Where the registration of Mrs. Carmella Maria Roger Amburn as a Nicaraguan, is canceled.
     

  2. Certification of Resolution of the Secretary of Actions of the Supreme Electoral Council: In which it resolves to cancel the citizen´s identification card in the name of Carmella Maria Rogers Amburn and the cancelation of the legal status of the Political Party Citizens for Freedom CXL.

 

  1. Report from the Central Registry of Civil Status of Persons: Where it informs that the birth certificate of Carmella Maria Rogers Amburn was canceled in said registry, which would demonstrate that Ms. Rogers Amburn is only a United States citizen.


 

II-. Regarding the Ordinary Passport that Mrs. Carmella Rogers Amburn had:

 

  1. Report of the Directorate of Migration and Foreigners: Where it states that the last authorized passport for Mrs. Carmella Maria Rogers Ambur is number C01386584. It also states that according to the 198 migratory movements registered, most of Mrs. Rogers Amburn used US passports (in only a few instances did she use a Nicaraguan passport). In this report, the Nicaraguan passport of Ms. Rogers Amburn has also been rendered ineffective as of the date.

 

  1. Resolution of the Directorate of Migration and Foreigners 005-2021: Where it resolves to annul the Nicaraguan passport of Carmella Maria Rogers Amburn, given it was obtained fraudulently.


 

III-. Regarding the cancellation of the registration as a Nicaraguan of Ms. Carmella Rogers Amburn, before the Nicaraguan consulate in San Francisco, California, United States of America:

 

  1. Communication from the Attorney General of the Republic, to the Consular Director General of the Ministry of the Interior: informing him of irregularities in the registration as a Nicaraguan of Ms. Rogers Amburn, on 7th June, 2005 and therefore, requests the cancellation of said registration.

 

  1. Communication from the Consular Director General of the Ministry of the Interior, to the Nicaraguan Consulate in San Francisco, California: ordering the cancellation of Act No. 016 that refers to Carmella Rogers Amburn improper registration as a Nicaraguan.


 

The Ministry of the Interior continues to work and reaffirm the Commitment to Peace and Wellbeing.
