NEW NOTE
TO THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE KINGDOM OF SPAIN
“Neither serfs nor slaves
the Earth as Paradise
Humanity's Natural Home”
Regarding your Communication of today, the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of Free and Sovereign Nicaragua, ratifies everything affirmed in our Official and Formal Communication of yesterday, which sent to you in the name of our Heroic and Worthy People.
That Communication conveyed only Truths, and precisely that is what irritates the Honorable Kingdom.
It is not for us to analyze the deep political, democratic, economic and social crisis that this far from perfect Spain is undergoing, denounced by every Sector of that Friendly People. However, in view of the repeated interference in our affairs, of unwonted colonial pretensions 200 years after our Independence, we ratify and extend what we said yesterday, by demanding also that the Kingdom complies with all its obligations in terms of Human Rights and Democracy, under a non-repressive legal framework, that guarantees the Social, Political, Electoral and Citizen Processes, in a Spain that appears so overbearing, boastful and false.
The Government of Dignified and Sovereign Nicaragua, on behalf of our People of Glories and Honor, demands that Spain complies with its own International Commitments, especially around so many crimes neither acknowledged nor investigated, whose Victims are still without Justice. Also, that it complies with the Human Rights Protocols, including admitting and indemnifying the long denounced State Terrorism that stained it forever; that it guarantees free expression and political participation for all its Citizens, according to their own will and beliefs.
The day will come when the rabid, ridiculous, pretentious and fallacious voices will give way to other fraternal, respectful and truthful voices. We are sure that a Better World is possible, and that is what we are working for, and where we are going!
