Dear Comrade,
As we commemorate the 76th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, this coming 2nd September, allow us to express our most sincere congratulations to You and to Your Brave People and Government.
On this historic date, the People and Government of Nicaragua recognize the great courage of the Brotherly People of Vietnam, who have suffered so much from the excessive ambitions of the imperialist powers, but who have time and again shown that the strength of a Free People is capable of defeating any adversary.
Recognizing the Heroism, the Force of Conviction and the Patriotic Love of Comrade Ho Chi Minh and the steadfast commitment of the Viet Minh Independent Movement with the Freedom of the Vietnamese People, we are proud to transmit the respect and affection of the People and Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua, to the People and Government of Vietnam.
In celebration of this historic day, and in these times of defense and vindication of International Law, the People and Government of Nicaragua reiterate its firm determination to continue strengthening the Bonds of Fraternity, Solidarity and Cooperation that unite us as Brotherly Peoples, in promoting a future of Peace, Health and Prosperity.
