With great consternation we have learned of the untimely passing of Brother Jolidee Matongo, Mayor of Johannesburg and prominent member of the African National Congress (ANC).
We mourn this great loss for the citizens of Johannesburg, for the Noble People of South Africa and for the ANC; and in these difficult moments of national mourning, we pray that the Family and Friends of Brother Matongo may find comfort and relief in his Memory and Legacy of Struggles.
