Coronavirus Situation as of 19th October 2021, 10:00 a.m. Weekly Report
During the current week, from 12th to 19th October of 2021, we have attended and provided Responsible and Careful Care to 504 Nicaraguans confirmed to be COVID-19 positive.
Likewise, 478 persons who were under Responsible and Careful Care have complied with the established period.
From the start of the Pandemic until today, we have attended and provided Responsible and Careful Care to 12,549 persons. We continue working to provide care to the Nicaraguan families.
People who have been receiving Responsible and Careful Care for COVID-19, have frequently had pre-existing conditions such as: arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus, obesity, heart diseases, immunodeficiency syndrome, chronic kidney failure, a history of cerebrovascular disease, pulmonary tuberculosis and chronic pulmonary diseases.
In the current week, there was 1 death attributable to COVID-19 and other deaths which occurred in people who have been under responsible care, due to pulmonary thromboembolism, diabetes mellitus, acute myocardial infarction, hypertensive crises and bacterial pneumonia.
To date, we have attained the recovery of 11,838 Nicaraguans.
