Receive our profound Recognition for the admirable Chinese People, for your Government, for your President, Xi Jinping and for the Communist Party of China, knowing that we will forge a Future of Greater Hope, Joy and Prosperity.
We feel honored, happy, to be inaugurating a stage of growth of our Friendship and Fraternal and Revolutionary Brotherhood, this 8th December, 9th December in China, which we consider a historic and transcendental date.
Today, our President, Comandante Daniel Ortega, our Vice President, Comrade Rosario Murillo, and I, on their behalf, as Chancellor of our Always Dignified, Sovereign and Free Nicaragua, are proud to formally resume the historical bonds and relations at all levels, between the People's Republic of China and our Nicaragua.
In these complex moments in which the World lives, this act of singular importance is for us a confirmation of our Socialist, Humanist, Revolutionary and Evolutionary Ideals and Values, which we defend in all International Forums; and where we have also always been supportive of Chinese Proposals and Positions for a Just and Peaceful World of Dialogue and in Equitable Development.
In celebrating this Meeting between Chancellors of Brotherly Peoples, we are pleased to continue strengthening our Relations in all fields: Science, Technologies, Education, Health, Arts, Culture, Sports, Media, Communications and Information Technologies, Investments, Projects, Commerce, Defense, Security and everything that fosters Understanding, Comprehension and new and higher levels of Fraternal Coordination, in order to continue fighting the necessary and indispensable Battles for a World with Rights for All, and with Respect for the Heroic Stories, successes and advances of Working Peoples, like your Great People.
We wish to recognize the fundamental importance of the Postulates of Principles and Values of International Policy that the People's Republic of China presented at the CELAC-China Forum, and which we fully share:
“We emphasize the need for mutual respect for sovereignty, non-interference in internal affairs, the dignity and territorial integrity of States, their right to development and to have social security systems, seeking to address the concerns of each States and persisting in the resolution of disputes by peaceful means. We reject the threat or use of force as a means of conflict resolution,
as well as unilateral coercive measures contrary to international law and the UN Charter, which threaten the sovereignty, stability and self – determination of peoples. We reject interference in internal affairs under the pretext of ethnic minority issues.”
“We believe that the general trend towards a multipolar world, economic globalization and greater democracy in international relations, has not changed. We need to urge the international community to foster a new type of international relations based on mutual respect, equity, justice and mutually beneficial cooperation and t jointly shape a new international order that is more just and equitable."
Always with profound admiration, to the Party, to your President, Comrade Xi Jinping, to You Brother Chancellor, to the Magnificent and Creative Industriousness of your People and to that happy and humble Society of Wellbeing, that you have been building with so much effort.
