Dear Brother,
It is with profound sadness that we have learned of the untimely passing of Brother Desmond Mpilo Tutu, Archbishop Emeritus of the Anglican Church of Cape Town and President of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission; a tireless defender of Social Justice, Anti-apartheid Struggle and Racial Equality.
During His Life of Struggles, Victories and Experiences for the Rights of the People of South Africa, the Peoples of Africa and the Peoples of the World, Brother Desmond Tutú touched the hearts of countless people, always transmitting his Message of Love for Others, Peace and Reconciliation.
“We are all made for Good, Love and Compassion. Our lives and the World are transformed when we are able to recognize these truths."
Desmond Tutu
Dear Brother President,
On behalf of the People and Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua and on our own behalf, allow us to express our most sincere condolences to the Brotherly People and Government of South Africa and in particular to the Beloved Family of Brother Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
Our Prayers, Fraternity and Solidarity accompany you in these difficult moments of sadness and national mourning.
With the respect and recognition of Always.
