Hinterlaces : Psuv is the most popular party among Venezuelans
The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv) leads voter preferences among the Venezuelan population with 31%, over opposition political organizations, says Hinterlaces.
The most recent study by the pollster, Monitor País, based on 1,580 direct household interviews between January 7th and 20th, was presented this Sunday on the José Vicente Hoy program, broadcast by Televen.
The opinion poll shows that 31% support the revolutionary party and 1% the other parties that make up the Grand Patriotic Pole (GPP), for a total of 32%.
For the opposition parties, the results are as follows: Acción Democrática (AD), 3 %; Primero Justicia, 2 %; Voluntad Popular, 6 %; Mesa de la Unidad (MUD), 1 %; Partido Social Cristiano Copei, 1 %; Avanzada Progresista, 1 %; for other opposition parties, 1 %, for a total of 16 %.
Fifty-three percent of Venezuelans said they did not sympathize with any political group.
Likewise, 33 % of Venezuelans define themselves as chavistas; 19 % as opponents and 48 % said they were neither chavistas nor opponents.
