On March 8th, the Episcopal Conference of Nicaragua declined to participate in this initiative and committed to the following statement: "We will accompany these crucial moments of our country as pastors, exercising our prophetic mission and dedicating ourselves to prayer and the ministry of the Word'(Acts 7,4)".
On March 11th, the Civic Alliance announced that it would take a break in its participation in order to carry out consultations to guide its work in the meetings.
On Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th March, meetings were held at the Apostolic Nunciature in which the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity, the Civic Alliance and Mr. Nuncio, S.E. Bishop Waldemar St. Sommertag, with the presence of the Special Envoy of the OAS General Secretary, Luis Angel Rosadilla.

Finally it was agreed that:
1) On Thursday, March 14th, the work of the negotiating table will be restarted as approved in the Roadmap.
2) There is awareness and agreement among all the members of the table that on Friday, March 15th of the current year there will be the release of a significant number of people.
3) We recognize the frankness, respect and trust are still a common sign of all those who participate in the table.
