The National Police, informs the people of Nicaragua, of the following:
Faced with false news and announcements that are continuously being published on social media, the National Police in compliance with its constitutional mission and Law 872 of the National Police, WILL NOT AUTHORIZE any activity that generates unrest among the Nicaraguan families.
These announcements and false news constitute a continuation of the provocations and terrorist crimes by the coup perpetrators, whom have sown mourning, grief and pain in Nicaragua and have caused the loss of so many lives, public and private property, and seriously damaged the National Economy.
The National Police reiterates to the Nicaraguan families that it fulfills its constitutional duty of guaranteeing security and citizen tranquility, as well as establishing responsibilities and filing charges against those who seek to disturb the peace and coexistence of our people, our culture and tradition.
