FROM THE DELEGATION OF THE GOVERNMENT OF
RECONCILIATION AND NATIONAL UNITY (GRUN)
TO THE NEGOTIATION TABLE

“Let us bring Wisdom to the Heart”
1. The GRUN Delegation at the Negotiation Table informs our People and the International Community, that yesterday we attended, in Good Faith and with the Best Will, to continue in absolute compliance with the demands of the Nicaraguan people to advance in the Negotiation Table in order to reach an Agreement on Justice, Reparation and the Commitment to Non-Repetition, as an unavoidable and indispensable basis for Reconciliation and Peace in Nicaragua.
2. Our Delegation has worked with Respect to the Witnesses and Guarantors that have prepared a Road Map to expedite the Negotiations. We know that the Nicaraguan people demand a joint call for the suspension and cessation of Illegitimate, Arbitrary and Unjust Measures, not against individuals, but against the Nicaraguan People and their Right to Development with Social Justice.
Unfortunately, today once again, we have come to see the clumsy, childish and miserable duality of those who speak one language at the Table, and outward (from the same Table), continue in the perverse pretension of robbing the Nicaraguan People of their Rights.
3. We have denounced and continue to denounce the manifest duality and selfish contradictions of the Counterpart, whom the People identify, unequivocally, with the failed coup, the Terrorism, the Violence, the Evil, and the attempt to submit Nicaragua to the interests of a few Families.
Those Families that do not know or want to recognize the hunger, the need and the daily struggle of the humble People. They should have eyes to see that the discarded, despised and, by them, excluded People, have been protected and guarded by the Christian Policies, Programs and Solidarity of the GRUN.
4. We denounce once again, the malicious practices, lacking seriousness and void of any sense of responsibility, of those who play with hunger and the need of the People, from their own selfishness and opulence, denying the elementary Right to Security, Labor, Welfare and Peace, from the Justice that Recognizes, Repairs and Commits to Not Repeat.
5. Little can we believe in that Commitment of Non-Repetition, when at the same Table of Negotiation they play, lie, cheat, offend and disrespect the Witnesses and Guarantors, and with that, they also offend the Intelligence of the Working People that expect results for this Christian Nicaragua, in clamor for Rights, Labor, Security and Peace.
6. It is evident that these gentlemen are unaware of the Ethical Sense of Life. Much less that they know the necessary skill, capacity, intelligence or maturity required to assume real commitments with the Right of the Nicaraguan People to Live Fraternally, with Security and with Opportunities for All.
7. The GRUN Delegation at the Negotiation Table reaffirms to the Nicaraguan people and the International Community, our many-times-proven seriousness of both word and action.
We demand that the Counterpart stop playing with the feelings and needs of the humble. Our people demand that they respond for the damages caused in their egomania and destructive irrationality. Our People call for them to build with Nobility and a Sense of Humanity, in these New Times that, from the Hand of God, and despite the inept technocrats of Ruin; the Good, Dedicated, Laborious, Believing and Empowered Families are living, in Faith and Hope, throughout our Nicaragua.
8. As we denounce the capricious and wicked tricks of those who have only shown a disposition to destruction and evil, we continue to ask God, with all our hearts, to guide our steps so that we can see, hear and understand the courageous Nicaraguan people, who do not believe in the arrogance of ridiculous and incompetent characters of fiction, but require them to restore wounds and damages, as an unavoidable condition for the Fraternal and Fertile Coexistence that we all want.
9. Truth, says the Bible, will set us Free. The healthy Truth. Truth is the Daughter of Light and proclaims Life. Only with Truth can we work for Reconciliation, with Justice and Peace.
