Unida Nicaragua Triunfa

COMMUNIQUÉ FROM THE GOVERNMENT OF
RECONCILIATION AND NATIONAL UNITY
Monday, June 10, 2019
We are Grateful to God as we fulfil our commitments with the Nicaraguan People and Families, consolidating Reconciliation, Security, Work and Peace as essential Values of our Democracy, which includes us all as Protagonists.
We live our Freedoms with responsibility. We live with Dignity and Fraternity, seeking the best for Nicaragua each and every day.
We live with Faith, Hope and Trust in God, as a People and as Christian Families, entrusting our Hearts to the Supreme Command of Harmonious Coexistence that guides us towards addressing our differences with Respect and to find ourselves, from our Diversity, with one basic requirement: Reconciliation; Justice and Non Repetition, indispensable, for the Tranquility of us all.
As a People that knows of Struggle, and knows about Honor, we find ourselves in Prodigious Victories of absolute compliance with our Constitution, our Laws, and our deeply Democratic Institutions.
From our State and Government that develops a unique Project and Model, of Christian Solidarity and Revolutionary Values, we proclaim that together with all of our People, we want Peace, we want Freedom, we want Democracy and Fraternal Respect among one another; We prioritize Life and we identify ourselves absolutely with the pain and suffering of the thousands of victims of the crimes of hate: murders, kidnappings, torture, rape and massive destruction of Public and Private Goods.
Many of these crimes, as we all know, were committed, unfortunately and painfully, by some individuals who consider themselves Religious, and who promoted, encouraged and accompanied, even personally, these acts of horror, torture, humiliation and attempts. against the Life and Dignity of the People and Families of our Nicaragua.
We proclaim and swear that the cynical violence, that criminal viciousness, will never return.
We proclaim and swear that this Heroic Act of National Reconciliation that we have subscribed and assumed as a State, and as a Nicaraguan People, overcoming very human, just and understandable human feelings of indignation, anger and profound pain; We proclaim and swear that this Law of Amnesty, with the Commitment to Never Forget, Never Repeat, cannot, and must not be understood in any way, as a clean slate.
The pain of the Families, the pain of those who have suffered, the pain of the aggrieved, of those who did not succumb to the atrocious torture, to the violations, to the material losses, to the lacerated Souls, to the long knives, to the pain; and who are Heartfully accompanied by an entire People in Christian Solidarity.
We proclaim and swear that beyond grief and pain, beyond the losses and the traumatic consequences of both outrage and crime against the Dignity of the People, there is the Force of Life and the absolute certitude, that God enlightens, invigorates and guides our Nicaraguan paths.
We will continue to fight and eradicate, with Love and Faith, the Satanism of those who offend and deny the Supreme Commandments and who continue to endorse, with an abject obsession, the continuity of Terrorism.
We condemn all forms of Terrorism, including Virtual Terrorism, typical of Souls frozen in practices that try to destroy the Good and Safe Life that the Peoples want. We are called to move away from Evil, to seek Good, to seek Peace, and to follow it.
With feelings of deep gratitude to God for having allowed us to fulfill our commitments to the Families and our People, through a Historic Law that promotes Reconciliation and Non-Repetition; Peace and Good, we move toward a Week of Celebration of the Miraculous Life for so many Nicaraguans who sacrificed themselves 40 years ago, generously, to the Cause of Freedom, Justice, and Love.
We recognize in our Steps of a Good People, the Inspiration and Guidance of that God whose signs are clear:
“Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for Jehovah your God will be with you wherever you go.”
(From Joshua 1:8-9)
Beyond the pain, beyond the evil, beyond the defamation, beyond all the lies and slander, there is the Sublime Truth of a People that want Love and Peace; and that is our Way, in the Powerful Name of Jesus!
