The Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Nicaragua informs the Nicaraguan Families and other Nationalities that, in compliance with the provisions of the Law of Amnesty, Law No. 996, approved by the National Assembly on June 8, 2019, published in La Gaceta, National Gazette No. 108 of 06/10/2019, the General Directorate of the National Penitentiary System, on Tuesday June 11, 2019, has released and handed over, to the International Committee of the Red Cross, 56 persons who were in prison for committing crimes against common security and public tranquility.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) moved the 56 people to their homes to deliver them to their families.
Given in the City of Managua, on the eleventh day of the month of June of the year 2019.
