On behalf of the People and Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua, and on our own behalf, we wish to express to You and the People of the Kingdom of Tonga our deepest Condolences for the untimely passing of the Prime Minister, His Excellency Samiuela ʻAkilisi Pōhiva.
In these moments of mourning, our prayers go out to the bereaved family of the Prime Minister, with whom we share the sadness of his departure.
Prime Minister Pohiva, a determined and visionary leader, left a rich legacy to the history of the Kingdom of Tonga and we pay tribute to his laudable and dedicated labor in the fight against Climate Change, the most important challenge of our time.
