All the main organizations of Nicaragua's opposition involved in the failed attempted coup in 2018 have declared their admiration and support for the fascist-led US supported coup in Bolivia. Worth noting in particular is the support for the Bolivian elite's attack on indigenous and campesino families of the self-styled Rural Workers Movement led by landowner Francisco Ramirez and convicted mass murderer Medardo Mairena. People supporting these allies of the US government and their regional proxies may well continues to claim they are progressive, but their cynicism and hypocrisy is clearer now than ever
