STATEMENT BY THE DELEGATION OF NICARAGUA AT THE EXTRAORDINARY SESSION OF THE PERMANENT COUNCIL OF THE ORGANIZATION OF AMERICAN STATES (OAS) ON THE REPUBLIC OF CHILE

Madam President,
The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua appreciates the statements delivered by His Excellency Teodoro Ribera Neumann, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chile, and takes note of his presentation.
The Government of Nicaragua takes this opportunity to reiterate its invariable adherence to the principles of non-intervention, respect for national sovereignty and non-interference in the internal affairs of other States. These principles guide our political and diplomatic actions as a Sovereign State and a responsible member of the international community.
