The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity has adopted the promotion of Science, Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Basic, Medium, Technical and Higher education, as a fundamental pillar for the attainment of integral and sustainable development and for the economic growth of the country, aiming to promote the training of high level human talent.

Nicaragua has implemented a culture of Entrepreneurship at all levels of education; in addition, technical and technological training programs are developed to promote productivity and improve competitiveness of enterprises in alliances between small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), the Central Government and Municipal Authorities.

As a nation, we are aware that there can be no prosperity in our countries without the real participation of Women, especially when it comes to issues as relevant as Science, Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. For that reason, our Government recognizes the fundamental role that Women represent in the adoption and implementation of scientific knowledge.
