It is our great pleasure to convey to you, on behalf of the People and Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua, our congratulations and best wishes for success as you assume the Pro Tempore Chairmanship of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) on behalf of the Brotherly People of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, on
July 1st for the duration of the Second Semester of 2020.
At a time when the World is going through difficult circumstances, when Multilateralism as a cornerstone to guide the relations between Countries is being weakened by coercive and unilateral aggressions, the Progressive and Revolutionary Forces of Our Latin America and Caribbean celebrate that you, Comrade Ralph, will lead CARICOM.
We have complete confidence in your leadership and demonstrated capacities, which over the years has guided CARICOM's position on different world stages, to become a regional group that is highly respected for the firmness and dignity with which they express their positions, especially against those who by
force or imposition seek to bend the will of free peoples.
The recent election of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to occupy a seat on the United Nations Security Council is testimony to the worldwide recognition of your independent and dignified positions.
