With deep dismay we have learned of the terrible tragedy that mourns all of your People, afflicted by the painful loss of so many Lives, the thousands of wounded, and by what that disaster means for so many Families in your Brotherly Country.
In these moments of suffering we share Prayers and Thoughts from the Heart as Brotherly People, who feel the pain of a still inexplicable misfortune.
May God our Lord alleviate and console the Family and Friends of all those affected, and may He give Your Government and Your People the indispensable serenity to overcome these difficult times with the Spiritual Fortitude that embodies You, and which we share.
With the urgency of a World of Peace and Good, we salute you Brother President, Brother Prime Minister, and all of your People.
