Odessa : bonfire of the shibboleths
Stephen Sefton *, May 11th 2014
The massacre in Odessa by neonazi protegés of the US government and its EU allies has been systematically minimized by the Western corporate media and much of the West's alternative media too. The same happens in any conflict where Western interests are at stake. What may be unique about the massacre in Odessa is that it was comprehensively recorded on videos demonstrating the incontrovertible guilt of the Western-backed fascist-dominated Ukraine coup regime and its supporters.
May 2nd, Odessa: the cynicism of Merkel and Obama
Stephen Sefton *, May 9th 2014
Not even a week after the neo-nazi massacre in Odessa, on May 8th, President François Hollande placed a wreath on the tomb of the Unknown Solider in Paris to commemorate victory in Europe over Nazi Germany 69 years before. May 8th will also forever mark the anniversary of the 1945 Setif massacres in Algeria when French security forces and settlers set out on a murdereous rampage killing over 40,000 Algerians.
