During the current week, from July 14 to July 28, we have attended and provided Responsible and Careful Care to 233 Nicaraguans, either confirmed to be COVID-19 positive or clinically plausible.

Durante la presente semana que comprende del 14 al 28 de julio, hemos atendido y dado Seguimiento Responsable y Cuidadoso a 233 nicaragüenses con COVID-19 confirmados o probables por clínica.

 Simon Trinidad is peace negotiator for the FARC, currently serving a life sentence at the super max federal prison in Florence, Colorado under conditions where he can receive no mail or visitors and is only allowed one hour a day in the general prison population.   July 30th is Simon Trinidad's 70th birthday.  An international campaign has been organized to celebrate this political prisoner and demand his release.

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the passing of the Honorable Owen Seymour Arthur, Former Prime Minister of Barbados and prominent member of the Barbados Labor Party (BLP).
