PRESS RELEASE
The Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Nicaragua informs the Nicaraguan Families and other Nationalities that, through the General Directorate of the National Penitentiary System, 50 orders have been issued in favor of persons who were detained for having committed crimes against security and public tranquility. These persons have received the legal benefit of family cohabitation or other precautionary measures.
The National Police, informs the people of Nicaragua, of the following:
Faced with false news and announcements that are continuously being published on social media, the National Police in compliance with its constitutional mission and Law 872 of the National Police, WILL NOT AUTHORIZE any activity that generates unrest among the Nicaraguan families.
